Abstract
This paper presents forensic knowledge and experience in the Hungarian environment, further it presents the conditions that help profiling in the domestic environment, systematizes them and presents their significance, and draws attention to the points where further development opportunities are provided for researchers in this field, and seeks to draw attention to dangerous signs that could lead to profiling in the wrong direction through improper inspections (documentation).
