Abstract
The moral, spiritual and social dimensions of poverty are interpreted from the perspective of Christian love and mercy. The paper emphasises that poverty is not merely material deprivation but often results from the loss of human relationships, acceptance and hope, placing personal responsibility on the surrounding community. The analysis highlights that genuine attention, unconditional acceptance and compassion can initiate real change in the lives of people living on the margins of society.
