Abstract
The role and potential of art therapy in protecting the mental health of young people and in drug prevention are examined, with particular attention to the management of aggression, anxiety and deviant behaviour. The paper outlines the psychological foundations of art therapy, emphasising the importance of sublimation and catharsis, as well as the preventive and therapeutic effects of individual and group creative processes. The analysis demonstrates that art therapy can serve as an effective tool in early prevention, self-awareness development and the social integration of youth.
