Abstract
The study explores the complex interaction between the biological origins of aggression and its socialization-based determinants, emphasizing that genetic predisposition alone cannot account for violent behaviour. It provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of childhood trauma, family environment and parental behavioural patterns on the development of antisocial personality disorders and aggressive conduct. The author also discusses group-based intervention methods—particularly Aggression Replacement Training (ART)—and evaluates their effectiveness and potential implementation in Hungary.
