Abstract
The young and enthusiastic team of the Police Station of Kaposvár City started a new, previously unknown traffic accident prevention programme. The number of traffic accidents, especially fatal ones had decreased significantly in the past two years since the project has been operational. The concept of shocking is known in many Western European countries and in the United States. This essay is about the Hungarian adaptation of this concept.
