Abstract
The authors of the book inform about safety challenges for people, elementary events, social and natural dangers and further civilisation-originated industrial disasters under special focus of the new law on disaster management. They simultaneously highlight the importance of preventing dangers and defensive opportunities. According to their firm conviction many of the hazards which the humanity has to face or occasionally predicting end of the world are absolutely closely related and definite. Therefore, the general and the law scholar mean it was high time that states and their leaders responsible for peace and safety of societies recognise and avert or ease them.
