Abstract
Aim: Content analysis and reinterpretation of the concept of critical infrastructure.
Methodology: The historical and content development of the concept of critical infrastructure based on legislation and relevant scientific works and measures taken under the epidemic.
Findings: The consequences of the COVID–19 epidemic and deductible experiential findings are required to expand the scope of critical infrastructure tools, equipment, raw materials and finished products and services. It is also necessary to re-regulate the necessary organizational system.
Value: Organizational innovations created during the epidemic, such as Operative Group, Hospital Commander System, organizing domestic production of the masks and protective equipment, preparation of domestic vaccine production, occurred. Further scientific consideration of the topic and the amendment of regulations seems to be justified.
