Abstract
The author provides an overview of some of the challenges the new, 2013 Hungarian prison code poses for experts working with juvenile prisoners. Special emphasis is given to changing brain capacity, newly discovered specialities of adolescence, moral conflict, long sentence, identification with perpetrator and victim, prison rape, suicide, self harm and benzodiazepine abuse.
