Abstract
The security of critical infrastructures is crucial for all parties involved. Every single participant (the state, the private sectors, professional federations, operators, owners) should be part of the implementation process. The responsibility for protection burdens the private sector but the state is bound to facilitate this by providing information, defining safety criteria, and creating a supportive financial and economic environment for improving safety.
