Abstract

The big book released by the publisher Springer has a lot of internationally accepted editors. Professor Helmut Kury, criminal psychologist and professor emeritus of the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg and research fellow of the Max Planck Institute in Freiburg specialised in foreign and international criminal laws. The Polish penologist and criminologist Sławomir Redo, lecturer at the Faculty Law of the Vienna University, professor of the Łazarski University in Warsaw, who worked at numerous posts of the United Nations and is today the fellow of the Academic Council at the United Nations. This book edited by them is without doubt an imposing creation. It is true both considering its extent – as this book includes more than thousand pages – its diversity and the professional knowledge of the authors.
