Absztrakt

Cél: Jelen tanulmány a keresztények által tapasztalt emberi jogi jogsértések mértékét és intenzitását vizsgálja, és néhány lehetséges stratégiát javasol az ezzel kapcsolatos problémák kezelésére. Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete aggodalmát fejezte ki a keresztények és más felekezetű hívők ellen irányuló erőszakos cselekmények globális növekedése miatt. Azonban annak ellenére, hogy az ENSZ felszólította tagországait az emberjogi válság kezelésére, ezen országok kevés figyelmet szenteltek a keresztényeket érintő emberi jogi jogsértéseknek. A keresztények több országban találkoznak megkülönböztetéssel, mint bármely más vallási csoport.

Módszertan: A tanulmány elkészítéséhez a vonatkozó szakirodalom szakterület-alapú (desk research) áttekintése került elvégzésre. A szerző a különböző tudományágakból származó releváns tartalmakat nézte át, hogy bővítse a keresztényeket érintő emberi jogi jogsértésekkel kapcsolatos ismereteket.

Megállapítások: A keresztények által tapasztalt emberi jogi jogsértések gyakorisága és intenzitása egyaránt rekordszintet ért el. Az elmúlt 14 évben 107-ről 155-re nőtt azon országok száma, ahol a keresztények zaklatásnak voltak kitéve. Jelenleg a keresztények a világ 198 nemzetének és területének 78 százalékában tapasztalnak konkrét atrocitásokat. Hasonlóképpen nőtt azon nemzetek száma, ahol a keresztények nagyfokú üldöztetést tapasztalnak. Ez a szám a 2014-es 53 nemzetről 2024-re 78 nemzetre emelkedett.

Érték: A keresztények a világ legkiszolgáltatottabb és legelnyomottabb közösségei közé tartoznak. Az ebben a cikkben bemutatott adatok és stratégiák az állami és magánszektor szereplőit olyan ismeretekkel és módszerekkel látják el, amelyek felhasználásával hatékonyan kezelhetik a világszerte fokozódó keresztényellenességet.
