Abstract
Géza Finszter, a renowned and respected figure in Hungarian police science, criminology, and criminalistics, widely regarded as a pioneer of police studies, celebrated his 80th birthday this May. Highlighting the most significant milestones of his exceptionally rich academic and teaching career would be a difficult task—let alone attempting to list them all. Through his remarkable life’s work, his humanity, and his professional achievements, this distinguished scholar sets an example for us all. It can also be confidently stated that beyond honoring past accomplishments, Professor Finszter’s work remains highly relevant today—earning him the respect and admiration of the professional community, universities, and his students, who see him as a model to follow. Dr. Géza Finszter was interviewed by Editor-in-Chief Valér Dános and Editor in Charge József Krenner.
