Abstract
In a series of essays published in 1913, the author, a reckoned linguist, provides a collection and explanation of terms and phrases used in criminal law – much of which are still used, even if unaware of their original meaning. The article is an abbreviated, modern version of the study series, which was shortened and annotated by László Nánási.
