Abstract
This year on 4th May celebrated Dr. László Pella ret. pol. brigadier-general his 80th birthday. He was born in Miskolc and when he came into the capital as a top water polo player, he did not intend yet to become a policeman. When he joined the Police, he had a career there worth getting to know. László Pella keeps in touch not only with old colleagues but also with employees of the local Police station even today, retained his obligation to maintenance of public order and public safety. What he keeps in fondest memory and how he lives in retirement we can get known from the interview with him, conducted by Zsuzsanna Hornyik.
