Abstract

The author presents details of the development of social networking sites, especially Facebook, its historical evolution and the investigation that was successfully detected and conducted thanks to the site. It does so in order to illustrate the dramatic changes in society in recent years as information technology has developed, which have undoubtedly had an impact on the work of law enforcement agencies.
