Abstract
In the literature on policing and law enforcement I am familiar with, mainly historical works can be found and less attention has been paid to the legal framework. In recognition of this, this work was born, in which I would like to present legal analyses together with historicity in several studies, during which I will first take stock of the most important findings and thoughts of great law enforcement scientists.
