Abstract
Although the city of rivers has a centuries-old tradition of higher education, the University of Győr (Széchenyi István Egyetem, SZE) is officially celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. In the framework of this extraordinary interview, three leading figures of the SZE, President Dr. Bálint Filep, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ferenc Friedler, Rector and Prof. Dr. Péter Smuk, Dean were interviewed by Dr. Csaba Szabó, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Dr. Viktor Németh, Editor-in-Chief.
