Abstract
I intend to commend our readers the festive special issue of the journal Magyar Rendészet in its Volume 21 in 2021, titled „50 years of higher education in law enforcement”. The periodic Magyar Rendészet made big steps in the last two decades to become an unavoidable journal of law enforcement science by today. (It has the classification B of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences). The special issue was published for the festivities on the 50th anniversary of the higher education in law enforcement with the goal to give an authentic review about the half-century with the help of authors, who were key figures of this period.
