Abstract
Prof. Dr. Béla Blaskó, retired police major general, became 70 in August. On this occasion a celebratory book was published in which his friends, colleagues, and admirers recall their memories and thoughts in writing. Dr. Sándor Pintér, Minister of the Interior, formulates, summarizing his life in a welcome speech: “Decades of college and university, teaching career, love of flying, attraction to music, successful career as a lawyer”. Dr. János Balogh, lieutenant general, National Chief of Police states in his laudation: “His work shows that with perseverance, diligence, learning and home service, one can reach the top of the profession, gain skills that earn the recognition of professionals skilled in the subject and make his personality irreplaceable in his profession.” Dr. Valér Dános, major general, writes in the greeting words about the university private teacher: “Authority and respect are only present if the teacher is present with professional knowledge, preparedness, excellent performance, consistency and fairness. Because of these competencies, you have become the most responsive person among your students.” The 68-year-old Belügyi Szemle greets Professor Béla Blaskó at his 70th birthday with this interview.
